A brief history of Greg Durrell.

Once upon a time in a land that stretched from sea to shining sea, a boy dreamed the same dream every night. He dreamed of a world of clean lines, flat surfaces and simple forms. He dreamed of a society whose machines mimicked the efficiency of nature. He dreamed of a land where beauty lay in creativity, and achievement was measured by innovation. He dreamed of a world where everybody had brand new biodegradable socks every morning and V8 juice came out of the taps instead of water. He dreamed of a place where peace was inevitable because love was in every image, every glance and every action. And every morning when he woke up, he set to work making his dream come true.

Work completed at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games was under the design direction of Leo Obstbaum and VP of Brand & Creative Services Alison Gardiner. A Special thanks to Cory Ransom for helping photograph the work.

Create: cre-ate (verb): to give rise to something; to produce inventions or art. These two descriptions are the two-fold structure that Photographer Sean Getti inhibits. Raised in Toronto, Canada, Getti rose to the art scene almost a decade ago. With an innate talent to express his art visually, Getti elevates what others may view as unadorned-and fashions pieces of work that verbalize the focal point of the image.
Not only highly respected for his instinctive eye, Getti establishes communication between the observer and his work. Leaders in industries across the board have sought Getti to capture their look, brand, message and voice. From the corporate world to independent companies to individuals, Getti’s ability to translate their ideas and trademarks maintains a standard that not only impacts their designated demographics, but also an appreciation by all others.
Always proficient and takes pride in his craft- Sean Getti continues to push boundaries and techniques to form original editorials, beauty shots, and portraits. Getti creates landscapes and distinguished images, from the initial shot to the editing stage – a phase in Getti’s inventive process that has gained him high notability. Already setting the standard for many- Getti re-invents ways to depict and embody the heart of the image.
“I’ve always had the drive and desire to share with those around me how I perceive and view things… I continually want to converse with the world the way I see it”. – Sean Getti.

SkinnyShips. Hi there, I’m Richard Perez. I am a graphic designer and illustrator located in San Francisco originally hailing from the suburbs of LA. And, no offense bay area, I got to say the Mexican food is a ‘hella’ lot better in Los Angeles. I fell in love with graphic design through old album covers and film posters and developing a passion to make stuff as a youngster.

Jonathan Looman, operating under the name “Lowman”, started in 2007 as an independent designer. His passion and energy come primarily from self-initiated design projects and experimenting with the connotations of existing and past visual languages. His main tool is the creation and manipulation of typefaces. His aim is to examine the associative powers of letter shapes and communicate at an intuitive level and so trigger the visual intelligence of the reader.

Hello. I’m Tom Lane, commonly known as Ginger Monkey – a right brain thinker and maker of things. This is my
online portfolio.
On any given day I’m usually illustrating for a book or magazine of some kind, branding a new initiative, creating a fancy poster (or any pieces of print for that matter), working up one of the ideas I have stuffed into my sketchbook, or filling it up with a new one – this is just how I like it!
This portfolio is intended to communicate the breadth of my capabilities, and to help you understand the environment I live in, one that supports play and experimentation – qualities I find crucial to developing strong ideas and forming new ones.
I hope you enjoy having a good
look through!

The work of:
Gavin Potenza & Elizabeth Meyer
Script & Seal is a multi-disciplinary design studio with a focus on experimental brand development. We work on a wide range of projects, including corporate identities, interactive websites, information graphics, editorial design & illustration, and packaging.

For us, the concentration is not only upon the design of a project, but it’s also about exploring new & interesting ways of communicating visually. We feel the beauty of communication lies in the ability to achieve an unconventional solution; one that is extraordinary because it is beyond the preconceived notions of familiar language.

Steven Bonner

I am a freelance designer and illustrator from Stirling in Scotland. A lot of things inspire and influence me, and they all contradict each other which I think is a good thing. I work with flowing, liquid lines and images with movement, and also geometric structure and grid based uniform. The possibilities of what I can try to achieve drives me to explore new techniques all the time.
My work is suitable for a wide range of applications including editorial, advertising, apparel, packaging and more. It has been used in print, motion graphics, video and online.
