Jonathan Looman, operating under the name “Lowman”, started in 2007 as an independent designer. His passion and energy come primarily from self-initiated design projects and experimenting with the connotations of existing and past visual languages. His main tool is the creation and manipulation of typefaces. His aim is to examine the associative powers of letter shapes and communicate at an intuitive level and so trigger the visual intelligence of the reader.

Here at & SMITH we’re passionate about the craft and value of design. We work closely with our clients to achieve a full understanding of their business, ensuring that the work we produce engages and inspires their audience.
& SMITH is a relatively small design studio, but that’s okay. Being small and independent means we can give each of our clients the hands-on attention to detail they deserve, and because there are no middlemen, our clients work directly with our designers from day one.
Our work encompasses corporate identity, branding, print, web solutions, book design, signage and packaging.

I am blindSALIDA, a french illustrator from Paris. I like to create explosions, lines or movements within, colorful, surrealist and psychedelic designs.

Mostlywanted is the online portfolio of bath based illustrator Tom Bagshaw.
Based in the Georgian city of Bath, England, Tom Bagshaw works as a commercial illustrator under the moniker Mostlywanted and is represented by The Central Illustration Agency. His talents are sought after by clients in fashion, advertising, editorial and publishing, and include Saatchi & Saatchi, Sony, the BBC, Kraft and GQ. He has done front cover illustrations for a group of select publishing houses – Future Publishing, Scholastic and Random House to name a few.
For his personal work he has developed a highly rendered digital painting style through which he explores themes of fantasy, beauty and mysticism. ‘Yokai Dreams’ is his first series created for a solo show and it masterfully demonstrates all the key qualities of his work which, while dealing with very imaginative content, aims for a strong level of realism in its presentation.
The darker, creepy elements in Bagshaw’s paintings are often balanced out with quirky or humorous details which are charming for the viewer to discover. While feminine beauty plays a large role in his work, the women he depicts are never frail damsels in distress. More often than not they’re strong, intriguing characters, with an air of mystery to them.
Though much of his reputation was gained through commercial work it is Yokai Dreams – his first exhibition – that marks his graduation from successful illustrator to highly-skilled, original and intriguing fine artist.

Happycentro is a creative studio from Verona dedicated to art direction & videomaking.
The studio began in 1998 in Verona, the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet. In recent years we have worked with both large and small clients, for local agencies and major international companies. Our approach to design is always the same: designing a logo, an advertising page, a wall or directing a commercial offers the same opportunity to deal with a problem. With time we have become quite good at solving problems. Mixing complexity, order and fatigue is our formula for beauty. Always, in addition to the commissioned work, we spend plenty of energy in research and testing. Visual art, typography, graphic design, illustration, animation, film direction and music. We like contamination between creative disciplines and diversity in general. We don’t like to do the same thing twice and prefer to go beyond what we are already able to do. It is tiring but satisfied.
